Single Car Rollover




Sheriff Richard Behnke of the Cass County Sheriff's Office reports that on 03/28/2018 at 0024 hrs his Deputies were called to a single car roll over crash on M-40, near Hoffman St, in Newberg Township, Cass County Michigan. The Driver a (29 yr old Goshen residence, Duquawn Edwards) was driving south on M-40 when he states he fell asleep at the wheel, and rolled his vehicle several times before coming to a stop on the side of the road. He was the only passenger in the vehicle, and was transported to Three Rivers Hospital for his injuries. A seat belt was worn during this crash. Alcohol may have been a factor in this accident.



Assisting agencies were the Newberg Township EMS, and the Newberg Township Fire Department.
