The Bordentown City Police Department has received grant money from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety for the “”UDrive. UText. UPay.””” Enforcement and Education Campaign. During the month of April, which the National Safety Council has designated as Distracted Driving Awareness Month, the Bordentown City Police Department will be supplementing regular patrols with additional Officers assigned to high visibility enforcement throughout the city. The assigned officers will be targeting motorists who engage in dangerous driving behaviors such as talking on a hand-held cellular phone and texting while driving.
