High Visibility Enforcement
After assisting other agencies in a regional approach to traffic safety, the Torrance Police Department resumed HVE operations within the city.
On Thursday, March 29, 2018, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., the Torrance Police Department conducted an HVE operation on Del Amo Boulevard between Maple Avenue and Western Avenue. “Accident Hot Spots” and other traffic concerns were the focus.
The Torrance Police Department is committed to enhancing safe driving through education, visibility and enforcement in an effort to decrease traffic collisions and save lives. The Torrance Police Department is also grateful to partner with our community in this endeavor. “Drive Like Your Life Depends on It.”
26 drivers were cited due to SPEEDING (one over 65 mph)
