Good Tuesday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Monday, 4/2/18.

-3100 blk Black Gold Rd, Levelland: Civil Issue. A deputy responded to a reported civil matter involving a vehicle. Civil remedies were advised and the issue was resolved.

-2300 blk East Ellis, Levelland: Disturbance. A deputy was dispatched to a reported disturbance near a residence in the area. The incident was determined to be verbal in nature and no offenses were reported. One of the involved parties had an active felony warrant and was placed in custody for the warrant. The individual was transported without incident to the jail.

-6700 blk Bear Rd, Smyer: Disturbance. A deputy was dispatched to a reported disturbance at a residence between family members. The matter was handles by separation. No offenses were reported.

-800 blk N. Alamo, Levelland: Disturbance. A deputy was stopped by an individual who stated he was being watched by someone in the area. The area was checked and no one was located. The individual was returned home.

-FM 168 at Hwy 114, Smyer: Reckless Driver. A deputy was notified of a possible reckless driver in the area. The area was checked and the vehicle described was not located.

Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in all areas of the county, civil process service, and investigative follow-up activities.

Jail population as of 4/3/18 at 0800 hours: 55 in Hockley County, 3 to be processed, 13 out of county.
