Fatal Wreck 
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Etowah County man lost his life in a two-vehicle wreck on Friday, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
Robert Lewis Hopper, 48, of Altoona, died after his 2004 Honda Civic was hit, head on by a 2017 Toyota Corolla. The collision occurred on Ashville Road, near the intersection of Thompson Road in Altoona at approximately 7:25 pm.
The driver and a passenger in the Toyota Corolla (both 44 years old and from Altoona) were also injured in the wreck. One was transported to a Birmingham hospital, the other to a Huntsville Hospital.
The wreck is currently under investigation.
