(Etowah County, Alabama) A Boaz man has been arrested in connection to burglary and theft of property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“James Albert Turner, Jr., 39, of Boaz, is charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of first degree theft of property, both are felonies,” investigator Shane Hartley said.

Turner stole $5,000 worth of miscellaneous tools and equipment from a residence located on Pleasant Hill Church Road. The homeowner was able to provide photos of the suspect and his vehicle from security cameras located on the property. Those photos assisted in Turner’s arrest.

Turner was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $7,500 bond. At this time, the stolen property has not been recovered.
