As of, Wednesday, April 4th, 2018, The East Side Sewer Relief Project on East Avenue has the intersection of East Avenue & George Street closed today for the installation of catch basins. There will be no pass through at this intersection and George Street will need to use Middle Avenue. The intersection will reopen after 6:00pm today.
The residents in the East Avenue Sewer Relief Project work zone will be notified daily as to how they can access their driveways.
Drivers should use the detour routes for East Avenue of Middle Avenue and East River Street. The detour routes are posted.
