Beginning on Monday, April 9th, 2018 the 100 block of Whitman Boulevard between Gulf and Canterbury Roads will be closed for street restoration work. The excavation project continues between 305 and 401 Whitman Boulevard with the intersection of Whitman Boulevard and Stafford Drive closed and no pass through between these addresses.
On Monday, April 9th and continuing for the next 4 to 6 weeks the 100 block of Whitman Boulevard that is between Gulf & Canterbury Roads will be restricted down to one lane of travel for both directions. The contractor will be doing street restoration work in preparation for repaving. Whitman Boulevard will be closed to all traffic except the residents of the 100 block of Whitman, Police, Fire and EMS services. This section will be an active moving construction area with limited traffic and long delays, both day and night. The contractor will notify affected residents in the 100 block as needed.
The Whitman Boulevard and Stafford Drive excavation and pipe installation continues moving east towards Abbe Road. The intersection of Whitman and Stafford is closed. All addresses higher than 401 Whitman Blvd will need to access from Abbe Road. All addresses lower than 305 Whitman Blvd will need to use Canterbury Road to Windsor Drive South to Stafford Drive east to Abbe Road.
