City of Sleepy Eye has declared a snow emergency for the downtown area only, beginning tonight, 4/08/2018 at 10pm. 
Vehicle(s) parked in the snow emergency route (downtown area) will have until 10pm tonight to move to off street parking or out of the snow emergency route. Any vehicle left is subject to a ticket and/or tow. If you are not sure of the emergency route they are; 2nd Ave NW/SW from railroad tracks to Walnut St, 1st Ave from Oak St to Walnut St, 2nd Ave NE/SE from Oak to Walnut, Oak St from 2nd Ave NW to 3rd Ave NE, all of St Hwy 4 (3rd Ave NW/SW) within the city limits, and all of US Hwy 14 (Main St W/E) within the city limits.
