SPECIAL EVENT NOTIFICATION!

Sunday April 15th 2018 Murrysville Alliance Church is having the Blessing of the Bikes at 1230 PM. This event brings thousands of motorcyclist to the area. Motorcycles start arriving early in the morning and arrive continuously until the end of the event.

Due to the size of the event please expect heavy traffic congestion if not a complete closure of Old William Penn Highway in the area of the event (roughly Gates ave to Evergreen dr)

When the blessing is over at approximately 130 pm expect VERY heavy motorcycle traffic from the bikes leaving the event in large groups. Due to the volume of traffic its going to take a few extra minutes to get through intersections nearby. The motorcyclist typically patronize many of the local businesses following the event and they get busy as well.

We want all of our drivers whether 2,3, or 4 wheels to be safe and cautions at all times but especially during this day. With planning and some patience any delays can be minimized. Please pay extra attention at intersections, stop signs, redlights and while entering and exiting a roadway
