The Sheriff's Office is always a busy place and 2017 was no exception. For example, in 2017:

~3,477 arrest warrants were received
~Officers and deputies served 2,756 warrants
~10,540 tax warrants were issued
~363 sales were set for Sheriff's Sales
~Deputies fielded 32,943 calls for service
~Corrections Officers managed a daily average population of 385 inmates in a jail built to house 296 (412 after renovations and redistribution of the inmate population)
~498,792 meals were served to inmates
~201 individuals were processed on the Sex and Violent Offender Registry
