Marion man faces multiple child sex offense charges 
Detective Nathan Mace of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Copper Erion Eckenrod, 28, of 170 Holly St. with two counts each of first-degree sex offense of a child and taking indecent liberties with a child.
It is alleged that Eckenrod had inappropriate sexual contact with a female acquaintance for years. The girl is now 9, but the incidents began when she was 5.
Eckenrod also faces similar charges from Marion Police Department.
