Deputy Jason Quinn of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Chad Franklin Winters, 31, of 4625 Nix Creek Road in Marion, with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance.
On Saturday, March 31, at approximately 10:25 a.m., Quinn and Lt. Burlin Ballew responded to a domestic dispute at the Nix Creek Road home Winters shared with his girlfriend.
During the investigation, deputies searched Winters’ vehicle and seized 33.68 ounces of marijuana, .5 gram of methamphetamine and 2 grams of heroin, along with drug paraphernalia.
