The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has extended the
* Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Madison County in north central Alabama...
* Until 930 AM CDT Sunday
* At 254 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that rain was continuing to fall over the area. Two to four inches
of rain have already fallen. Flood Stage at Indian Creek is 7.5
feet and the last report shows the creek remaining steady around
7.78 feet. Therefore, flooding is already occurring and will
continue. Less than a quarter of an inch of additional rainfall is
expected and this warning will be cancelled if the creek falls
below flood stage.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Triana, University Of
Alabama In Huntsville and Marshall Space Flight Center.
