* Until 630 PM EDT

* At 524 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Monroeton to 11 miles east of Seagrove, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Chapel Hill, Burlington, Graham, Hillsborough, Pittsboro, Siler City, Carrboro, Mebane, Goldston and Elon College. A tornado watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for central North Carolina. HAIL...1.00IN WIND...60MPH
