The annual Runapalooza event will be held this Saturday April 21, 2018. RunAPalooza is held every April and includes the Asbury Park Half Marathon, Jersey Shore Relay Marathon and Jersey Shore 5K.

There will be several road closings and detours on Saturday morning in our service area. Please follow detours and officers instructions. There will be no vehicular traffic on the listed roadways during the event. Residents are encouraged to move your vehicles prior to the event. Roadways should reopen to normal operation at approximately 10:30am.

In the Borough of Deal:

Ocean avenue north bound will be completely closed from 8am-10:30am from Neptune Avenue to Lawrence Avenue. Roosevelt and Jerome Avenue will be closed East of Almyr Avenue.

In the Village of Loch Arbour:

Ocean Avenue will be closed from 8am-10:30am from Edgemont to Elberon. Edgemont will be closed from Norwood Avenue to the Asbury Border. There will be no vehicle traffic on Euclid East of Ocean Avenue during the duration of the race.
