Commercial Burglary Case Filed
On Sunday, April 1, 2018, at approximately 5:00 p.m., officers responded to “Junk King” located at 2908 Oregon Court after the business owner was alerted that someone was in the closed business. The owner checked his cameras and observed a suspect removing items from his office which included computer equipment and tools.
Patrol officers coordinated a response and ultimately located the suspect in her vehicle. It was determined the suspect unlawfully entered the business upon locating a “Hide-a-Key.” The owner responded and was able to identify the stolen property. Investigators credit the business owner for having a surveillance system and the patrol officers who assisted with apprehending the suspect.
Investigators discovered the suspect has previous convictions for burglary, petty theft, and receiving stolen property. She also has convictions in the State of Texas for theft and narcotic related charges. The subject is currently on summary probation for identity theft and receiving stolen property.
