HIRING ANNOUNCEMENT:
Class II Special Officers
Borough of Deal Police Department

The Deal Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Class II Special Officer. Applicants are required to be a U.S. Citizen, 18 years of age or older, hold a high school diploma or its equivalent, and be a resident of New Jersey during the appointment term. Applicants must have a good reputation and be of sound moral character, possess a valid New Jersey Driver’s License, and undergo a complete background investigation. Applicants shall already be certified SLEO II officers or currently be attending a police academy upon submission of the application.

Interested applicants must submit an application, current resume, and the appropriate SLEO II certifications to Detective Daniel Liptak as soon as possible. Applications must be picked up at Deal Police Headquarters; 190 Norwood Avenue, Deal, NJ 07723.
