Help APD Identify Homicide Suspect #18-007853. On Monday, April 16, 2018, shortly after 6:00 pm, officers responded to the 800 block of E. Exchange St. for a shooting. Officers arrived and found 46-year-old Jason L. Bradford with a gunshot wound to his torso. Bradford was transported to Akron City Hospital, where he later died. According to witnesses, Bradford was involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical and then shots were fired. The suspect left the scene in a mid-2000’s, 4-door, blue Dodge Neon.
