There is an increased fire danger across central North Carolina today.  

The combination of low relative humidity levels of 20 to 30
percent, and strong winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 30 to 35 mph,
will result in elevated fire danger conditions mainly this
afternoon across central NC.

Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged. Any grass or brush fires
that occur may quickly spread if left unattended.
