Motel 6 Theft Press Release 
On 4/19/2018 at 10:05 AM, dispatchers at the Northern Ellis Emergency Dispatch center received a 9-1-1 call from the manager of the Motel 6 located 202 S. IH-35 E stating that they had just been robbed. Upon further investigation, it was determined that a theft had actually occurred rather than a robbery. An unknown subject wearing a black hoodie, black sunglasses, dark colored shorts, white gloves, white socks and white tennis shoes entered the business. The suspect jumped the front counter when the office was unoccupied and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the drawer and fled the scene. The surveillance video of the theft has been uploaded to You Tube at https://youtu.be/G62rOVqoQLg. The Red Oak Police Department Criminal Investigation Division is currently conducting additional investigation and attempting to identify the suspect.
