Apr. 20, 2:00 a.m.: The Board of Water Supply (BWS) crew working on Komo Mai Dr. near the hair-pin turn located and patched the leak in the main which was repaired last week. They filled the trench and laid down a fresh temporary asphalt patch. The repair is completed and equipment has been removed from the area.
Crews arrived at the site at about 4:00 p.m., today, and set up signage and cones in preparation for the work. The then began excavation of the previous main repair site. As of 2:00 a.m., crews had completed the project and vacated the area.
Water service to the Pacific Palisades and Momilani subdivisions has been restored and residents may resume normal water usage.
