City of Salisbury's Traffic Engineering staff will be performing maintenance work to the traffic signal at West Innes Street and Jackson Street. The traffic signal will have to be dark (non-operational) for the majority of the work performed on this day. For this reason the portion of South Jackson Street at West Innes Street will be closed to traffic. Local traffic only will be allowed within the 100 block of South Jackson Street, to access properties within the block. This closure is planned to begin at 7:00am on Thursday, April 26. It will last until the construction is complete for the day and the signal has been returned to normal operation. We hope to have the road re-opened before 5:00pm.

This was originally scheduled for Wednesday, however, the project had to be delayed by one day. We appologize if this has created any confusion.
