Department News Release: Noblesville & Hamilton County FOP Lodges to Host Fundraiser

Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and Softball Tournament to Benefit the Family of Deputy Jacob Pickett

Presented by the Noblesville and Hamilton County FOP Lodges

We want to welcome everyone to attend a full day of softball and family activities on Saturday, April 28th at Morse Park & Beach in Noblesville, IN. Opening ceremonies will begin promptly at 8:40am and the first games of the day will start at 9:00am. The softball tournament will run throughout the entire day with the championship game taking place at 5:00pm. We have eight law enforcement teams coming from across the region to participate: Noblesville Police Department, Carmel Police Department, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Howard County Sheriff’s Office, Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Blackford County Sheriff’s Office, the Indiana State Police, and Chicago Metro. The concessions will be open all day with all of the normal varieties you’d find at a ball game as well as some other options for lunch. We will hold a 50/50 raffle throughout the day.

We will have several family activities on site at the Hamilton County FOP Lodge grass area which will include games, face painting, a photo booth, and much more. We will also hold a silent auction in the FOP area with over a dozen items to pick from (corn hole boards, gift baskets, autographs from the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers, hot air balloon ride, whole home carpet cleaning, and much more). The silent auction will run all day with a closing time of 4:00pm. We are fortunate to have Malachis Magnificent Lemonade there as well selling his famous lemonade. There will also be a beer garden at the FOP lodge.

All proceeds for this event are going directly to the Pickett Family. Please come out and enjoy a fun filled day of softball and family activities!

Attached is a parking map to show locations for media personnel, spectators, and players. If there is a rainout on April 28th, softball will take place on Sunday, April 29th at the same times.
