The Walnut Creek Police Department is very pleased with the information of an arrest in the East Area Rapist/Original Night Stalker/Golden State Killer cases. Sadly our community experienced two of these attacks in 1979. Hopefully, the arrest in these cases will bring closure to our victims, our victim’s families and our community as a whole.
