Victorville Detectives are investigating an attempted murder.

LOCATION: 13000 block of Spelman Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT: Unknown
VICTIM: Confidential, 26-year old male
SUMMARY: On April 29, 2018, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to Victor Valley Global Medical Center for a patient suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Upon arrival, deputies learned the male victim had been stabbed multiple times in the torso and was in critical condition. The victim refused to provide any information about the suspect or suspects responsible for his injuries. He was flown to a nearby trauma center for further treatment. He is expected to recover from his injuries.
Through investigation, deputies learned the stabbing likely took place at a residence in the 13000 block of Spelman Drive, where a relative of the victim was hosting a child’s birthday party. The occupants at the Spelman address would not provide any investigative information to deputies about what had occurred.
