Crime Alert - Off Campus
Attention Rutgers Community:
The New Brunswick Police Department is investigating a robbery which was reported to have occurred on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at approximately 2:30 AM on Hamilton Street between Guilden and Division Streets in the City of New Brunswick.
In this incident the victim, who is affiliated, was walking on Hamilton Street when he was confronted by three males who demanded items of value. One of the males brandished a knife before all three fled in an unknown direction with the victim’s personal property. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
Descriptions of the perpetrators are limited at this time.
The New Brunswick Police Department asks that anyone with information, or who may have been in the area at the time, to contact the New Brunswick Police Department Detective Bureau at 732-745-5217.
