Good Friday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Thursday, 5/3/18.

-2nd St at McKinley, Smyer: Disturbance. A deputy responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the area. One of the parties left the area before deputies arrived, but was later located and interviewed. After speaking with all parties, it was determined to be a verbal disturbance and no offenses were reported. Parties were separated.

-800 blk N. Alamo Rd, Levelland: Harassment. A deputy met with a complainant regarding a harassment report. Remedies were advised to the complainant.

-Drill Stem Rd. at FM 300, Levelland: Suspicious Person. A deputy was dispatched to Drill Stem Rd. after being notified of a female subject sitting along the roadway. The area was checked and the individual was not located.

-3700 blk Hwy 385, Levelland: Alarm. A deputy responded to an alarm at a residence. The property was checked and found to be secure.

-100 blk Veretto Rd, Animal Complaint. A deputy was dispatched to the area related to an aggressive stray dog. The dog had left the area and was not located. Information was collected by the deputy.

-300 blk Cleveland, Smyer: Dog Bite. A deputy was notified of a dog bite report. A family dog bit someone while playing. The dog was current on all vaccinations, and a report was completed related to the incident.

Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in all areas of the county, investigative follow-up activities, and civil process service.
