Police Investigate Shootings 
Around 2:55 a.m., on May 5 Jackson police responded to a shooting. A 22-year-old man told police that he was sitting inside a car parked in the 200 block of W. Main Street when he was shot. The man could not provide details about who shot him. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Investigators determined that the victim had a warrant through JPD for violation of probation.
Shortly afterward, a 29-year-old man arrived at the hospital emergency room, by private vehicle, with a gunshot wound. He was uncooperative with Investigators. He was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
