* Until 230 PM EDT Sunday
* At 826 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy rain was falling over the area. The heavy rain will cause flooding. Up to 1.50 inches of rain has already fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cass Scenic Railroad, Greenbank, Snowshoe, Mingo, Durbin, Harman, Dunmore, Monterville, Arbovale, Cheat Bridge, Dryfork, Bartow, Slaty Fork, Glady, Frost, Boyer and Edray.
* AFFECTED AREAS: POCAHONTAS ... RANDOLPH
Instructions:
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route. Please report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely. You may also report flooding by posting your report to the Charleston West Virginia National Weather Service Facebook Page, or by using the Twitter Hashtag, NWSRLX.
