Good Tuesday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Monday, 5/7/18.

-1800 blk 10th St, Levelland: Theft. A deputy responded to a report of theft of mail. The individual was located on scene, issued a citation for the offense, and released.

-1310 Avenue H, LEC: Theft. A deputy spoke with a complainant regarding a vehicle stolen in another county. The individual was directed to contact the law enforcement agency where the vehicle was stolen to file any reports.

-County Rd at Sunrise Ln, Levelland: Vehicle Crash. A deputy was dispatched to a vehicle crash in an area under construction. DPS responded and conducted the crash investigation.

-1310 Avenue H, LEC: Civil Issue. A deputy contacted a complainant regarding a child custody issue. Civil remedies were advised related the matter.

-400 blk E. 9th St, Anton: Theft. A deputy was dispatched to meet with a complainant regarding a theft of metal from a residence. Information for a report was taken and the matter is under investigation.

-600 blk Lawrence, Anton: Suspicious Activity. A deputy responded to a report of an individual walking into a garage at a residence in the area. The area was checked and no one was located.

Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols in all areas of the county, civil process service, and investigative follow-up activities.
