The Giles County Sheriff's Department would like to invite you to attend an event that is very special to us. As part of National Police Week, we will be hosting a Police Memorial Service to honor not only
local but all law enforcement officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Honoring those officers that have lost their lives while serving the communities they were sworn to protect. We could fill
this page with numbers and statistics on law enforcement death information, but we won't. We don't believe it is necessary to remind you just how dangerous the profession of law enforcement can be and we don't need to tell you what you already know; the citizens of Giles County and the citizens of the United States are safer and enjoy a sense of security because of the brave men and women who wear a badge and gun everyday to work.
