The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on May 10, 2018 detectives executed a search warrant in the 14000 block of Dutch Settlement Rd in Marcellus Twp on suspicion that the sale of methamphetamine was occurring there. Upon searching the residence detectives discovered a sizeable amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, methamphetamine paraphernalia and loaded firearms. During the search a stolen vehicle was located as well. Two suspects were present at the time of the search warrant, a 50 year old male and a 45 year old female. The male was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, felony firearm, possession of a stolen vehicle, tampering with evidence, possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house. The female was charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, felony firearm, possession of marijuana and maintaining a drug house. The female suspect was also arrested on a drug warrant out of Lagrange County Indiana. Both suspects were lodged at the Cass County Jail on their respective charges. Their names are being withheld pending arraignment.

The investigation is still on going at this time and warrants are being sought for individuals not present at the time of the search warrant.
