Frederick Hamilton Jauss, 47-year-old, resident of Needles, was arrested for Annoying or Molesting a Child

SUSPECT(S): Frederick Hamilton Jauss, 47-year-old, resident of Needles

SUMMARY: On May 11, 2018, at 10:29 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 300 block of Cibola Street for a family dispute. Through an investigation, the deputies gained information Suspect Frederick Hamilton Jauss had recently committed a sex crime against an under aged female family member.
After investigators interviewed Jauss, he was arrested and booked at the Needles Jail. Jauss bail was set at $100,000.00. Jauss had also failed to update his sex offender registration address and he has a prior conviction for child molestation. Jauss was booked on an additional charge of Failing to Register.
