Today's storm downed many trees throughout the Borough. Several of them have landed on and broken utility wires causing outages. The Police, Fire, OEM, DPW, and Mayor have been working with PSE&G and Orange & Rockland to open the roads and restore power.

Please be patient with respect to power restoration estimates, our dispatchers do not receive updates from the power companies.

A large tree has come down on the utility wires on West Saddle River Road south of East Allendale Road. The wires are laying on the roadway and may be energized. NEVER approach downed utility wires, ever ! Orange & Rockland electric has been notified and told this was a priority. If you are without power notify your power company directly for the most current restoration estimates.
