Since May 1st, the Shorewood Police Department has received 16 vehicle entry complaints. Of these, 14 vehicles were unlocked. Personal property has been reported stolen from these vehicles including money and pricy portable electronics. The entries are occurring in all areas of Shorewood.
The Shorewood Police Department again is urging residents to remove valuables from vehicles and please lock up. Most importantly, never leave a key fob or a spare key inside of the vehicle (including a valet key.)
