Good Wednesday afternoon! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Tuesday, 5/15/18.

-1800 blk Hwy 385, Levelland: Alarm. Deputies responded to a reported alarm at a residence in the area. The property was checked and was secure. Alarm was accidental.

-Hwy 114 near Nightingale Rd, Smyer: Traffic Complaint. A deputy responded to a complaint of a group of juveniles along the highway. The area was checked and no one was located.

-Gusher Rd at FM 1585, Levelland: Fire. Deputies responded to a reported fire in the area. Fire Department extinguished the fire and deputies provided traffic control assistance as needed.

-FM 1585 at FM 168, Smyer: Vehicle Crash. Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle crash near the intersection. DPS arrived on scene to conduct the crash investigation and deputies assisted on scene as needed. One individual was transported by EMS for evaluation.

-6100 blk FM 597, Anton: Disturbance. Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the area. It was determined to be verbal only, and a dispute between a parent and a juvenile. No offenses were reported.

Deputies also conducted vacation watches/close patrols, patrols in all areas of the county, investigative follow-up activities, and civil process service.
