Center City District Infrastructure Work to Cause Temporary Closures on Abbot Road 
EAST LANSING, Mich. — Community members are advised that the ongoing infrastructure work for the Center City District project will cause some temporary road closures on Abbot Road, between Grand River Avenue and Albert Avenue, on the evenings of Thursday, May 17, Monday, May 21 and Tuesday, May 22. The road closures will be in place on all three evenings from approximately 7 p.m. to midnight.
These closures will allow construction crews to connect to the sewer main and water main as part of their ongoing infrastructure improvement work.
Southbound Abbot Road traffic will be able to access eastbound and westbound Grand River Avenue by detouring from Abbot Road to Oakhill Avenue to Hillcrest Avenue.
