On May 16, 2017, Giles County Sheriff’s Department investigators executed a drug search warrant at a residence on Munro Road in the Rose Hill area. Investigators confirmed information through various sources that 40-year-old David Scott Story was distributing methamphetamine from his home on Munro Road. David Scott Story, 39, and Melinda Shannon Sharma, 34 of Pulaski were found in a bedroom with numerous hypodermic syringes, marijuana, and small ziplock bags which are consistent with the packaging and selling of illegal narcotics, methamphetamine, and glass pipes which are used in the inhalation of methamphetamine.
Story and Sharma were arrested at the scene and charged with Possession of drug paraphernalia, Simple possession of marijuana and Possession of Methamphetamine for resale. Sharma was also served with an existing warrant out of Giles County Circuit Court. Both remain incarcerated in the Giles County Jail on a $122,000.00 bond. Sharma has an additional hold for court on the outstanding probation violation warrant. There are other suspects connected with this incident, and additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
