Newberry County Coroner’s Office along with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating a single vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday May 20, 2018 at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Jolly Street, near Wedaman Road in Newberry County.
An autopsy was performed this morning, May 22, 2018, Mr. Baker died of Multiple Blunt Force Injuries due to Motor Vehicle Collision. There was no evidence revealing that Mr. Bake was wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision.
This incident remains under investigation South Carolina Highway Patrol.
