ALL LANES HAVE RE-OPENED
Update #1:
Eastbound lanes of PV Drive North will open within 30 minutes. However, Westbound lanes will remain closed at Crenshaw Boulevard until approximately 7 pm for clean-up.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and avoid the affected area. Local residents can access their neighborhoods from Eastbound PV Drive North.

BACKGROUND:
Deputies from Lomita Sheriff’s Station and Los Angeles County Fire personnel are on the scene of a big rig rollover at the intersection of Hawthorne Boulevard and Palos Verdes Drive North, Rolling Hills Estates. The driver of the truck, sustained minor injuries and no other vehicles were involved.
Currently, all eastbound and westbound lanes of Palos Verdes Drive North between Moccasin Lane and Hawthorne Boulevard are closed. Clean up is expected to take several hours. Motorists are advised to stay out of the area and take alternate routes.
Lomita Sheriff’s Station provides law enforcement services to the cities of Lomita, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates, and unincorporated communities in San Pedro and the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
