(Etowah County, Alabama) An Attalla man has been arrested in connection to theft of property, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

“Scott Alan Lemons, 50, of Attalla, is charged with one count of third degree theft of property, which is a felony,” investigator Shane Hartley said.

Lemons allegedly stole a utility trailer from a farm located on Cedar Lane, Attalla. When the victim reported the stolen item, they stated it could possibly be found at the Lemons’ residence. Investigator Hartley discovered the utility trailer in the back yard at the suspect’s property.

Lemons was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and released on $1,500 bond. The stolen trailer was returned to the rightful owner.
