This Armour Boulevard Bikeway Project, constructing the city’s first parking protected bike lanes, is in progress. Currently, crews are waiting on the new pavement surface to cure before installing permanent striping.  Drivers should obey the current parking    signage posted at the curbs, as those will be enforced by police. Drivers should also respect the new parking lane line as pictured in the attached images, and refrain from blocking the new bike lane. By mid-June, weather permitting, crews will begin permanent striping and signage installation from Broadway Boulevard east to The Paseo Boulevard in block by block phases. Parking and traffic impacts will occur during that time. The project will be completed before July 31st, weather permitting.
