In the early morning hours of Saturday, May 26, 2018, Hughes County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI assistance investigating the double murder of Ronny Key (DOB: 08-06-64) and Katherine Fritz (DOB: 11-24-44) at their home. The suspect in the homicides, Rodney Key (DOB: 01-06-88) was taken into custody in Pottawatomie County after a high speed pursuit. Rodney Key is currently charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. OSBI agents continue to investigate and will prepare a comprehensive report for the Hughes County District Attorney’s Office.
