Norwalk Station deputies responded to an Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Gunshot Victim call, on Friday, May 25, 2018 in the 11800 block of Hermosura Street in the city of Norwalk.  When the deputies arrived, they found a man was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. 
  
Homicide detectives have learned at approximately 8:00 a.m. Friday morning, the victim was standing in front of his residence when gunshots were heard.  After the shooting occurred, a dark-color sedan was seen speeding away southbound on Clarkdale Avenue.  No suspects were seen.
      
The man was transported to a local hospital; a day later, Saturday, May 26, 2018, he succumbed to his injuries. 

The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Jose Luis Felix.
 
The motive of the shooting and whether it is gang-related is unknown at this time. 

No additional information is available, as the investigation is on-going.
