#LASD Homicide Detectives Responded to San Dimas Suspicious Circumstances Investigation

Los Angeles County Sheriff Homicide Detectives are assisting San Dimas Station Detectives in the on-going investigation into the circumstances surrounding an incident that occurred in a house in the 6100 block of Goodway Drive in the unincorporated area of Azusa.

On Monday, May 28, 2018 at approximately 10:15 PM, San Dimas Station deputies responded to the location regarding a disturbance call.  Upon arriving, they entered the home, but were unable to locate any occupants.  Based on the condition of the inside of the home, which included a large amount of blood on the ground, deputies formed the opinion a medical emergency or a criminal act had occurred.  The home was secured, and station detectives began their investigation.  Homicide detectives were notified and later responded to continue the investigation.

As of yet, it has not been determined whether or not a crime has occurred.  Detectives are actively following up on leads and seeking at least one resident of the home.  No names are being released at this time.

This looks to be an isolated incident and does not appear to be a random break-in to a home.

There is no further information at this time.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
