In order for MODOT to conduct a partial bridge demolition, Interstate 70 will CLOSE at the Oak Grove (exit 28) interchange on Friday, June 1 at 10pm, until Monday, June 4 at 6am. Eastbound and Westbound I-70 will be diverted onto and over the existing ramps. There will be NO access to or from I-70 and F/H. If you need to access Oak Grove or I-70, you must use Bates City (exit 31) or Grain Valley (exit 24).

Grain Valley residents and vistors:
EXPECT DELAYS, traffic will increase due to the construction in Oak Grove. Possible alternatives include:
*If you are trying to access F/H, north of Oak Grove; travel north on Buckner Tarsney/Main Street in Grain Valley; turn east onto Pink Hill which will intersect with highway F/H, north of Oak Grove.
*If you are trying to access Broadway, south of Oak Grove; travel south on Buckner Tarsney/Main Street in Grain Valley; turn east onto Old 40 Highway.
*If you are looking for alternative routes in Grain Valley to avoid possible traffic delays:
*Eagles Parkway or US 40 Highway (south of I-70)
*Jefferson or Duncan (north of I-70)
extend into Blue Springs and intersect with Adams Dairy.
