June 1st, 2018 the East Avenue Sewer Relief Project contractors will be in the intersections of East Avenue at 5th & 6th Streets and Pronesti Lane today and Monday, June 4th. There may be times of no pass through at these intersections, use Middle Avenue.
Beginning Monday, June 4th, driveway aprons and curbs will be removed and replaced between 4th Street and 620 East Avenue. EMS, Police, Fire and School Buses should expect long delays using East Avenue as traffic volume has increased and contractors have been forced to completely close East Avenue in their active work zones.
East Avenue remains closed between 16th and 4th Streets and the detour routes are posted with Middle Avenue and East River Street the posted routes.
