Vehicle Pursuit 
On Saturday, 6-2-18, at approximately 1710 hours, Sebastopol Police Officers were led on a high speed pursuit from the north end of Sebastopol to a remote area off of Green Valley Road.
The suspect was believed to be a white male adult. He rode an orange dual sport motorcycle and wore a black helmet. He drove recklessly and almost lost control of his motorcycle several times during the pursuit.
The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office was enlisted to assist in the pursuit.
Sebastopol Police Officers pursued the suspect until the suspect ultimately turned down a private dirt driveway. The suspect then took a very steep dirt trail that the patrol vehicles were unable to traverse. Due to the extreme advantage of the suspect's vehicle over the Officers' vehicles, the Officers were unable to continue the pursuit.
Moments after Officers lost sight of the suspect, Sonoma County Sheriff's Helicopter "Henry 1" was overhead searching for the suspect. The suspect was not located.
