SUSPECT: George Robert Pacheco II, 43 year-old San Jose resident
On Friday, May 19, 2018, at approximately 12:38 AM, officers responded to a silent alarm activation at Victoria Liquors on South Park Victoria Drive. Officers found the front glass doors where shattered but still intact, and it appeared no one had actually entered the closed business. Officers continued checking the shopping center and found a shattered front glass door at Ocean Supermarket. As officers surrounded the closed supermarket, they found George Pacheco in an enclosure at the back and arrested him. Surveillance camera footage confirmed Pacheco broke the glass doors at Victoria Liquors before he broke the glass door at Ocean Supermarket. Pacheco was booked into the Santa Clara County main jail for burglary and vandalism.
